Tim is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #47229) with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. He has been licensed since 2009, working with individuals, couples, and families, and has provided clinical supervision for therapist interns and associates since 2011.

Tim currently serves as Associate Dean of Operations for the JFK School of Psychology and Social Sciences at National University, where he oversees clinical and professional training, community service programs, and academic operations. Previously, he was Executive Director of the Office of Professional Training at John F. Kennedy University and Director of Clinical Operations for its Community Counseling Centers. Before joining JFKU, he directed programs in adolescent residential treatment and school-based mental health.

His clinical specialties include individual, couples, and family therapy; anxiety and depression; adolescent behavior; parenting; LGBTQIA+ issues; multiculturalism and intersectionality; Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA); and clinical supervision for MFTI, ACSW, and PCCI trainees. He also specializes in Polyvagal Theory and is certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) for adults and children with highly sensitive neuroception.

Before entering the mental health field, Tim spent more than 15 years in corporate leadership and management consulting, including leadership roles at FedEx and Yahoo. That combined background in clinical care, supervision, and operations informs his work supporting diverse clients, trainees, and programs.

Tim is currently not accepting new clients in private practice.
