About Tim

Tim is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #47229). Tim holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and has been providing counseling services to individuals, couples and families as a licensed therapist in private practice since 2009. Tim has provided clinical supervision for psychotherapist interns and associates since 2011.

Tim is currently Director of the Office of Clinical Training for John F. Kennedy University’s, overseeing the College of Psychology’s external practicum program for the MA in Counseling Psychology programs as well as internally managed Community and School-Based Programs. Previous to this role, Tim was Director of Clinical Operations for JFKU’s three Community Counseling Centers. Prior to joining JFK University, Tim was the Mental Health Program Manager for La Cheim Schools and the Program Director of Center For Discovery’s East Bay Resilience program, launching their first residential adolescent treatment center serving Northern California.

Tim’s specialties include: Individual, Couples and Family Therapy; Anxiety and Depression; Adolescent Behavior; Parenting; LGBTQ issues; Clinical Supervision & Training for MFTI, ACSW and PCCI Interns.

Prior to becoming a therapist, Tim acquired over 15 years of corporate leadership and management consulting experience, including 10 years spent in various management roles with FedEx and most recently as Vice President of International Customer Operations for Yahoo Inc. Tim’s extensive leadership background combined with broad experience as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and in mental health program management uniquely qualify him to lead programs which support diverse clients in varied clinical settings.
